They will manage IBM resources and coordinate client resources to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization. They will support the planning and execution of a project to meet goals and objectives and ensure adherence to approved scope, time, budget, and quality. This position requires excellent management and communication skills.

  • Build and lead a team that will function in a matrix environment to develop and implement the project deliverables with a focus on quality, productivity and consistency;

  • Provide direction and manage the workforce assigned to the project and provide a framework for project planning, communications and reporting on the activities and procedures and contracts;

  • Work with the customer to determine operational requirements and develop the proposal;Develop work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of project team activities and sub-teams;

  • Assess skills needs required for the project, working with the deployment team to determine appropriate resources and manage their integration into the team;

  • Define the deliverables and milestones;

  • Establish and control the scope;

  • Communicate the status and vision to management and stakeholders of the customer;

  • Perform general management tasks of the team, including regular assessments;

  • Manage the budget;

  • Manage risks.

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry;

  • Mandatory Project Manager experience of at least 8 years, which would include:

  • managing resources, scope, prioritization, and work plan

  • managing project risks and issues

  • creating dashboards and reporting

  • Strong client relationship management;

  • Strong project management;

  • Solid budgeting and planning experience showing successful delivery of projects on time and budget;

  • Strong skills in oral and written communication and ability to work independently and within teams;

  • Executive level governance reporting;

  • Experience managing development and defect support project activities;

  • Experience managing remote/offshore teams;

  • Proven ability to manage customers and relationships;

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills working with project teams and clients;

  • Ability to work closely with process owners and other key stakeholders to communicate the progress of projects;

  • Large team management experience;

  • Effective time manager.
