As an IBM Systems Administrator, you'll use your expertise in systems management to resolve issues with clients' hardware and software components. You'll provide answers to clients' questions about IT problems, and help meet their business needs through innovative IT solutions.
• Daily management of the SAN, ATL, queue• Schedule and implement system changes maintenance• 2nd/3rd level maintenance of TSM server and Backup and restore hardware environment and TSM server related problems • Plan and perform TSM upgrades• Coordination for Hardware-Repair and Maintenance• Follow IBM worldwide standards on security and data protection• Perform logical disk space management services• Capacity and performance management and tuning• Direct communication to the local support teams• Have a high degree of competency and understanding of midrange servers• Communicate effectively to allow customers to understand or reconfigure their environment • Operate the internal IBM general used tools• Take initiative to solve problems Required skills: • At least 2 years of experience with TSM server and BUR environment• Basic skills on TSM Client• Basic network knowledge• High SAN knowledge• Very good English knowledge• Problem Determination & analysis skills• Excellent team working skills balanced with ability to work alone / positive attitude• Customer focus• Use of problem and change management tools • Good general IT literacy
