This is a lead Project Management role which requires customer facing interaction and negotiation with extensive Vendor Management on an ongoing basis.In thisPM role you will work as a team member with the client or within the team to identify business requirements and develop a proposal. Subsequently you will lead the team in initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing tasks of a project (or segment of a project) to produce the solution deliverable. You will execute a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, test and final delivery. Additional responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Lead project team to plan & deliver project on time, on budget, and within scope

  • Ensure compliance with IBM processes and procedures

  • Report on assigned projects to meet local, A/NZ and global reporting requirements.

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Forecast & engage project resourcing for assigned projects

  • Project Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Manage finances (including GP) for assigned projects and ensure all project expenditure has appropriate approvals

  • Minimum 4-5 years experience in a Project Management role

  • Customer facing Project Manager skills & experience.

  • PM experience gained in an IT Infrastructure Services

  • Data Centre and Mainframe knowledge

  • Network experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Personal and team leadership skills
