The Delivery excellence role is a critical business management function as it supports the velocity of business across the organisation in Delivery execution. The candidate should either have a bachelor of business (preffered) or a law degree - IT degree is ok but not essential for the role. Should have good MS Excel skills Most of all, must be well structured. The key areas in which this the candidate will work in: 1. Spearhead most of the key projects I have setup (PMO function)2. Organise the operational reporting for Delivery and DE3. Setup an internal social/professional network for project leaders/managers including x-brand (create a community..)4. setup a calendar of activities to raise the prominence of the project management communityThe operational activities include a large volume of reports and data. In order for Delivery excellence to execute, the large amounts of data need to be organised and analysed and prepared into presentation formats to deliver actionable insights to the business.

Skills/Knowledge Preferred:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, bright candidate from a business focussed degree with the following skills or characteristics:

  • Numerate with strong analytical skills

  • Excellent university results (e.g. Distinctions or above)

  • An enquiring mind to question the data and explore ways of gaining insights

  • Strong communication skills

  • Organised -- working to deadlines and able to work through a problem to get to a solution

  • Very strong spreadsheet skills (e.g. using MS Excel in developing pivot tables, formulas, calculation models)

  • Strong presentation skills (e.g. using MS Power Point)

  • Experience in building and using basic databases

  • Some experience with setting up communities

  • Experienced at surfacing or setting out a list of actions to complete a project/initiative
