IBM Workday Time Management - US in SOMERS, New York

Your future made with IBMIBM is now hiring experienced professionalsIBM HR are looking for a certified Workday consultant with experience of delivering Time Management (absence and tracking), to join an experienced Workday HR delivery team for roll-outs to US and Canada. All the benefits of the largest Workday delivery programme in the world, but without the hassle of timesheets, utilization or sales targets, ‘give-back’, or weekly travel. Based out of IBM CHQ Office in Somers (New York State) you will be part of a high performing design and delivery team who are rolling out Workday to over 400k employees across 175 countries. The team will be co-located together in Somers, with your specific role focusing on design and delivery of the absence and time tracking modules, owning that module in delivering a mature Global Template to the US and Canada in 2016-18. This certified professional will:

  • identify strategies, alternatives, approaches, risks, and mitigations to meet country requirements

  • be responsible for planning and design through to testing and deployment using Workday methodology.

  • share knowledge and information through regular communications and facilitation

  • display sound analytical problem-solving capabilities

  • configure the Workday Functional/Business Process absence and time tracking solution including vacations, short and long-term absences and timesheets

  • support testing and resolving issues

  • be the owner of the global template, including driving improvement and adoption of the IBM Workday Global Template (Absence and Time Tracking)

  • stay current with new Workday Absence and Time Tracking updates to ensure the latest innovations are activated where they can deliver tactical benefits for IBM. This will also include liaison with Workday to understand their investment plans and where feasible to help to shape them to meet IBM's future strategic direction.

  • A minimum of 1 year experience with HR Software Implementation

  • Workday Certification in Core HR and Time Tracking

  • possess knowledge of absence and time tracking localization and legislative requirements in US and Canada

  • have completed at least 1 end to end Workday implementation as a Time Tracking consultant

  • possess ability to run workshops on absence and time tracking and convey solutions to complex business requirements to HR SME's

  • possess experience working in a large team, contributing positively to the success of the team as a whole

  • possess experience of the absence and time tracking reporting catalogue and ability to create custom reports

  • possess working knowledge of Compensation and Core HR as they integrate with Compensation
