About IBM TSS:IBM Technical Support Services (TSS)’ mission is to become the largest and most successful provider of technical support services in the world. The Business Technology team within TSS is focused on supporting the TSS strategy through new IT development and moving to a common IT portfolio across the company; Organizationally the TSS Business Technology team is set up to do IT transformation allowing work to be done smarter, quicker, with high client satisfaction, while still supporting the existing unique IT portfolios used among various geographies. Our center:The Client Innovation Center is the newest and largest IBM center in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is a hub of global importance for the company, providing end-to-end IT services, including network management, server systems operations, maintenance and monitoring of computer hardware and software covering some of the biggest world markets – US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The role:The TSS Technical Program Manager will be part of the TSS Business Support team and will provide technical leadership in the deployment of new tools, processes and technologies. Responsibilities:

  • Have a proficient working knowledge of the IBM server and storage platforms and technologies.

  • Interface with Service Planning in the development of tools, and technologies that support business offerings.

  • Support, maintain, and improve existing infrastructure to support business units.

  • Interface with subject matter experts from TSS Service Planning, Systems Group, and various IBM technical teams.

  • Identify process gaps, and develop action plans to address.

  • Lead special projects and other duties as assigned

  • Ensure business controls are properly maintained.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Technical knowledge in IBM server and storage products

  • Strong leadership, organization and planning skills

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills

  • Contracting / legal knowledge will be considered an advantage

  • Strong time management and record keeping

  • Ability to absorb professional knowledge quickly and develop skills

  • Attention to detail and take ownership where required

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English (B2-C2 level)
