IBM Reporting and Analytics Service Manager in SOFIA, Bulgaria

The Reporting and Analytics Service Manager is a first line management position responsible for leading a team of professionals working in an project based environment.He/she:Manages technical professionals who provide services in the area of Report creation and analysis, also provide assistance to clients and IBM sales and delivery teams in a complex multi-vendor, multi-system environment.Has full responsibility for all personnel matters which include leadership, technical guidance and training of staff to ensure business objectives are met.Will be responsible for the delivery of a highly visible service which contributes significantly to the achievement of customer satisfaction, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Service Level’s (SL’s), cost and expense targets, and other business objectives of TSS EMEA.Supports transformation of the business in a highly dynamic environment utilizing the complex information infrastructure in the delivery of service.Communicates and negotiates with clients and other IBM teams in complex situations requiring management involvement.Uses knowledge of the reporting and analytics environment to coordinate workflow, determine schedules, and allocate resources.Is responsible for department and organizational attainment of team and project objectives, high client satisfaction and the overall mission.Is responsible to ensure business controls, security and conduct guidelines compliance as well as cost-effective operations.Key Responsibilities Effectively and positively communicate the organizational mission, vision, values, goals, performance management and action plansAssume management responsibility and delivery for your teamsDevelopment and implementation of business strategies in relation to your business unitsConsult with Technical Support Services (TSS) representatives in EuropeImplementation of mission specific objectivesCreates business policies and operational guidelinesResolves service and team/employee issues and sets long term plansMotivates people to work independently and according to the planned project schedulesResponsible for providing direction to your team employees, to positively promote your employees and help drive their career aspirationsFlexibility and willingness to travel to different locationsTo ensure all controls implemented are adhered toTo assume additional Responsibilities as assigned

RequirementsManagement experience within a reporting and/or analytics environmentExperience in managing development teams and activitiesFluency in English, proficiency in German and/or French is an advantageExcellent ability to communicate with customers and staff at all levelsStrong presentation skills with a wide range of audiencesHigh standards, attention to detail and a desire to make a differenceStrong management, leadership, organization, and planning skillsDecision making under difficult circumstancesInitiative and effective negotiation and persuasion skillsMicrosoft package application knowledgePrior experience in data mining and navigation of a complex data infrastructureFlexibility and ability to and deliver in demanding and changing circumstancesBasic understanding of SW development processes and practicesKnowledge and understanding of IBM business and services policies, practices and procedures will be considered an advantage
