The TSS Managed Network Support Services Professional is responsible for providing technical, administrative, and research services in support of Managed Network Maintenance solutions. As a member of a team, or working independently, the candidate will provide a variety of services including, but not limited to:
Apply technical skills on networking to assist with the design, architecture, and development of capabilities in the Networking field.
Writing and/or consolidation of technical documents.
For IBM Intelligent Networking Support (INS), tasks include research, analysis of output to identify potential issues for the client, troubleshooting, product installation, and complex root cause analysis.
Installation and testing of new SW products/technologies.
Ability to present technical information to non-technical people.
Pre-/post- sales support and presenting of reports findings and recommendations for action items.
Administration of small virtual infrastructure.
Associates Degree in technical field (Networking)
At least 3 years of experience in installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of network infrastructure and access layer devices; including routers, switches, firewalls, and/or network security devices.
Technical knowledge of IBM Intelligent Networking Support (INS) or Cisco Smart Services
Linux/RedHat administration and scripting
Strong communication and presentation skills
