IBM Engagement Support Team Specialist for BeNeLux in SOFIA, Bulgaria

The Engagement Support Team (EST) specialist is in charge of E2E coordination and project management for complex maintenance solution design for IBM and non-IBM products. In addition, the EST specialist is in charge of E2E coordination of won deals that need to be implemented until handover to delivery.In his/her activities the EST specialist will:

  • Create/enhance conceptual/functional solution architecture.

  • Finalize offering mapping.

  • Identify solution gaps.

  • Work with SMEs to fill solution gaps.

  • Create physical model and identify environment providers.

  • Review solution and identify gaps.

  • Handover to delivery.

  • Registration by Sales Transaction Team.

Once the contract is signed the EST specialist will appropriately document the solution and inform the Implementation team accordingly. This includes the Remote Service Delivery set-up and the On-site Service Delivery set-up incl. the required Education Plan, the spare parts logistics set-up and the involvement of a subcontractor or the OEM if required.The day-to-day activities of an EST specialist include extensive written and verbal communication and collaboration with other IBM functions such as Sales, Delivery, Operations Organizations, Customer Fulfilment and Alliance OEMs.Business Awareness:

Preferred Experience:Experience in technical support position and project management (with methodology and processes component), ideally in a maintenance sales or delivery organization or experience in a related organization like Procurement or Sales Transaction Support.Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Dutch.

  • French will be considered as an advantage.
