You will design, develop and support solution development with focus on Web Technologies. This role may design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Key skills include a work ethic who can self-manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines. A high degree of initiative and self-development is expected.At the same time, you will use technical and negotiations skills in collaboration with other support organizations to prioritize and work problems to resolution. You will develop, document, and communicate action plans to Project Management, Users and IBM teams as appropriate. You will look for avenues to recommend/or implement new analytics solutions or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, or processes. Participate in department objectives such as building the knowledge base (writing technical tips), improving serviceability, and contributing to high customer satisfaction.
Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, min 6 years of hands-on software development experience.
Must have Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Node js, XML and Json technologies.
Hands-on experience in developing and Implementing the Restful and SOAP based services
Solid Knowledge of Software Engineering & development life-cycle
Experience using jQuery and Ajax technologies
Understanding of code analysis, requirements analysis, code review, test management, identification of code metrics, and object-oriented design and analysis processes
Solid communication skills and to articulate clearly the status,next steps and recommendations
Supports development of business cases for analytics projects
Hands-on experience in Big data analytics and related open-source or commercial platforms is preferred
