IBM Network Team Lead in SINGAPORE, Singapore

The role will report to the Network Competency Lead as well as Delivery Project ExecutiveRoles and Responsibilities

  • Strategic ownership of network infrastructure technology of IBM’s client

  • Manage team of network resources comprised of local and remote

  • Assignment of incoming network operations and implementation workload to staff

  • Manage 24x7 operations of all network infrastructure, operations and services Data Centres, Branch offices in Singapore and Oversea including extranet network connectivity.

  • Expansion, implementation and management of the dynamically growing network services portfolio.

  • Client facing role by on-site presence

  • Ensure all service deliverables are as per agreed scope and services and meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and/or Service Level Agreement (SLA).

  • Ensure smooth running of all network system services daily and when operational incident/problems arise, to manage, own, track, escalate, communicate and coordinate problem resolution/escalation processes up to problem resolution.

  • Responsibility for reporting performance and capacity metrics

  • Execute tactical and operational plans including planning for growth and anticipating for technology changes, providing input for strategic planning and anticipating requirements where possible.

  • Participate in regular Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise and ensure relevant DR procedures are updated regularly.

  • Participate in specifying statement of work (SOW), key performance indicators (KPI), service level agreement (SLA), and evaluation/selection of vendors and/or solutions.

  • At least 5 years at Network SDM and/or Network Team Lead, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in network operations and network project management capacity.

  • Experience in managing and supporting a sizeable and complex network infrastructure and operation in a large organization with off-site subsidiaries/business units.

  • Management of a technology team, preferably in a Service Provider domain.

  • The ability to present information convincingly to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong vendor, service level and project management skills.

  • Network infrastructure experience and detailed knowledge of related technologies, products and services.

  • Broad overall infrastructure background with proven experience in technology and methodology
