Security SW Tech Sales Specialist - Client Technical SpecialistClient Technical Specialists are technical consultants to clients, IBM sales teams, and IBM Business Partners. They understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements, and competitive landscape. They provide technical sales support which may include: collaborating with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; delivering Proof of Concept (PoC); developing and delivering technical education; supporting critical situations; designing solutions; and answering technical questions. When engaged for a specific opportunity or project, they are responsible for the technical accuracy of the proposed solution.Successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of technical sales for IBM Security Operation & Response portfolio including opportunity identification, analyzing IT Security requirements of enterprise clients, selecting appropriate IBM solutions, architectural design of security solutions, leading Proof of Technology (PoTs)/Proof of Concept (PoCs), demonstrations, client workshops and presentations, and supporting quotes/pricing and other proposal development activities.
Candidates having hands-on experience with IBM Security products: IBM Security Network Protection & QRadar or competitor products will be highly desired. At least 5 years experience in designing and demonstrating winning IPS(Internet Protection System) & SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) Strong skill in Selling enterprise solutions in the Security market with strong history of technical sales success Strong skill in current security threats, what to look for and how to mitigate them Basic skill in java script, Regex, shell scripting, and Unix/Linux. Strong skill in Forensic English: Fluent
