Security Professional performs one or a combination of disciplines such as physical security, emergency planning, information protection, and incident management; they aid management in protecting people, property, and information. These activities also support the business acquisition and divestitures process.Prepares and regularly updates process documents, crafts professional reports for management , and develops and delivers security-related training and education to the greater IBM population. Participates actively in the audit process for area of responsibility. Develops and executes metrics for areas of responsibility. Actively re-engineers own processes for efficiency improvements.Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Works independently in planning and conducting work, with management guidance on unfamiliar areas.Previous professional experience in security, law enforcement, criminal justice or other security related fields.Fluency in a language other than English, may be required.Bachelor degree is preferred.Proven communication and negotiation skills.Requires analytical and problem-solving skills on specific security approaches, implementation and input to strategies.
