IBM Analytics Portfolio Sales Representative in SAN DIEGO, California

IBM is currently hiring an Sr. Analytics Sales Representative for the Retail & Distribution Territory in the Western United States. This person can be anywhere in California. Join an elite team of Sales Professionals who sell Advanced Analytics that enables Retailers & CPG companies to make better decisions quicker, with the right access to the right data at the right time. You will help improve our clients own customers’ user experience and thus brand loyalty by leading a business discussion centered around an Agile, Open Source, and Cloud Native journey integrated with Watson Cognitive capabilities. This team highlights a focus area of IBM, particularly in the Retail & Distribution space. Advanced Analytics means something different to each retailer, so the applicant must understand the customer's needs and adapt accordingly. Enterprise sales experience within the Retail & Distribution space is preferred. Responsibilities include:

  • Engage new and established clients in a value-add business conversation.

  • Sell IBM Analytics software to Federal Healthcare agencies

  • Identify and properly qualify business opportunities.

  • Ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Interact with other internal departments such as Inside Sales, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Success.

  • Develop and cultivate client relationships for the long term.

  • Leverage IBM as a global company to achieve local business objectives.
