Provide GSD331/ISEC and CSD (Customer Security Document) policy Compliance support to ITD for all supported accounts for the Altantic Proximity Center to improve the overall knowledge, understanding and customer satisfaction.
Improve ITD controls posture by providing delivery teams, and client relations management teams with advise and council on the interpretation of IT Security policies and security controls documents including but not limited to ITCS104, GSD 331, and ISeC. (For example providing advice and council on IseC / GSD 331 / CSD gap analysis).
Develop and provide timely updated Security Controls Documentation (GSD 331, IseC, CSD, and other security controls documents) to reflect accurate updates to customer policies and ITD Security requirements.
Initiating in a timely manner commercial GSD331/ISEC Customer Policy Analysis and translate business requirements into control objectives.
The successful candidate will employ key skills in leadership, project management, collaboration, communication and organizational skills, and will develop the understanding of IBM's suite of compliance and security tools/processes (e.g. CIRATs, CWP, ePolicy, etc.) as well as LEAN methodologies. You will participate once or more times a day in cadence discussion on issues or challenges, provide trouble-shooting input /advice to less seasoned team members, and demonstrate flexibility with regard to assignments and providing coverage as required. This position requires off-site rotational coverage for after-hour extension/closure approvals, including some weekends.The Information Security Policy Advisor is the dedicated security focal for a number of SO customers and will oversee security policy maintenance and compliance services for the accounts. This position requires an Information Security professional who works independently and has a broad base of knowledge regarding Information Security operations policies, process, tools, services and architectures commercial sectors.The work location could be Florenceville, NB or Saint John, NB
Minimum of three years performing Information Security activities within a large enterprise environment. CISSP or equivalent certification (or ability to obtain certification with in 12 months).Must have Hands-on Information Security experience including such items as: Document security controls within customized policies and technical specifications.Provide IBM personnel with education to ensure they have a working knowledge of the appropriate tools and process.Experience in creating customized security policy customer drafts and Documentation of policy exceptions.At least 2 years experience in understanding security documentation, processes, and requirementsAt least 2 years experience in Windows Operating SystemAt least 2 years experience in Microsoft Word & ExcelEnglish: Fluent
