  • Be responsible for the configuration, design, and administration of security tools for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) systems managed by IBM.

  • You will configure and manage security tools in compliance with Department of Defense requirements while also ensuring continued compliance for all devices.

  • You will work with the security operations center team to ensure security devices/tools are configured properly to monitor, tracked, and analyze networks/systems for potential security violations while also assisting in all such potential incidents.

  • Also provide Information security subject matter expertise throughout the tasking and translate security requirements into technical designs/solutions.


  • At least 2 years experience in Information Security.

  • At least 1 year of experience in Host Based Intrusion Prevention system administration/management.

  • At least 1 year of experience in Security Information Event Management (SIEM) Tool administration

  • At least 1 year of experience in Vulnerability Scan Tools.

  • At least 1 year of experience in Intrusion Detection / Prevention administration.

  • At least 1 year of experience in DISA STIG Validation / Compliance.

  • Certified in industry recognized areas such as CISSP, CISA, or Security+
