Delivery Project ExecutiveThis role constructs partnerships between clients, team IBM, vendors, and subcontractor organizations and manages the implementation of these partnerships to address business opportunities for the IBM Corporation.They have equally balanced skills in five key general management areas of client relationship management, consultative selling, financial / business management, portfolio / program management and team / people management.Be the primary focal point and owner for all activities on a large complex contract. Accountable for meeting revenue, profit, and growth objectives and for improving overall customer satisfaction targets. Responsible to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels with the objective of being a trusted business partner.Proactively work with client to identify their business objectives, priorities and directions, critical success factors and applies this knowledge to establish and implement an Account Strategy. They translate customer requirements into formal agreements, establishing specific solutions, and leading the efforts that culminate in client acceptance of the results.They have overall responsibility for their contractual cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. They manage IBM resources and coordinates client resources to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization.They are recognized for business acumen by the customer set they support.Skills Required Environment: Create and maintain business relationships with the client organization striving to earn trust and confidence. Able to manage relationships within the client's organization and understand client dynamics.Participate in efforts to understand client priorities, define future business plans and translate these into tactical support plans. Contribute towards a high performing account team to support the contract and client's business.Work with Delivery to drive program / project schedules and contract deliverables that support the client's business with a focus on delivering on every commitment made to the client. Effectively meets contract commitments, can identify issues and participate in crisis management. Learn and participate in IBM selling techniques to identify business opportunities and leverage resources in closing new business with the client.Learn and use Project Management methodologies, processes and tools. Understands opportunities to achieve or exceed revenue and profit objectives with a focus on contract erosion. Can apply business and financial management principles and forecast business performance accurately.Develops an understanding of customer business plans and applies to day to day operations of the account. Engages in teamwork to execute contract terms & conditions, contract growth, conflict resolution, communications and providing guidance / assistance to team members.
