IBM is now looking for talent to address the new requirements of the Application Lifecycle management.As a senior tools developer, you will lead and manage a team distributed in several geos and time zones (Australia, UK, France, US, Canada). This team is building Rational Team Concert Enterprise Extensions, a component of Rational Team Concert. RTC is part of the CLM offering (see www.jazz.net) . As dev manager, you will interact with your counterparts from the other RTC components, with the release manager of RTC and attend the RTC PMC. You will interact with the tech leads to define the plans for the next release of the product and you will monitor and report about the execution of the plan, the metrics, and the deliverables. This job is based in Raleigh NC (RTP). It requires proven management and operational skills, a practice about continuous delivery, Agile methods such as scrum. A knowledge of RTC, its tracking and planning features and the use of dashboards is desired. In the future, you could also become a lead advocate with accounts that are using the features of RTC-EE. You could represent the team in technical conferences. On the RTP site, you will manage, from an operational standpoint and HR standpoint a team of 9 developers. You will coordinate their work with the one of the rest of the team in the other countries.
At least 5 years in management or Team Lead experience.
Previous leadership experience including strategic thinking, team building and conflict resolution
At least 5 years in Java Programming experience.
At least 3 years in Continuous Integration and Delivery.
Proven understanding of ALM, Agile and DevOps principles.
Proven understanding of the development life cycle and Build specificity for z/OS applications
Experience working with GITHub or GITLab
