CIO Services teams provide comprehensive IT support for IBM’s supply chain operations teams around the world. IBM’s supply chain IT professionals participate in all aspects of the agile delivery and support process including requirements gathering, capturing functional/technical specifications (including epics, features, and user stories), configuration, testing, user training, implementation, and on-going support. Leads functional design scope discussions in collaborating with the business and other IT teams to develop SAP roadmaps and solution designs aligned with IBM’s CIO Services strategies. Job Duties & Requirements
Involved in implementation of such projects with emphasis in SAP’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) area’s (procurement, inventory/ materials management, replenishment, production execution, warehouse management, order management, shipping, billing, pricing and customer data handling)
Creates and maintains strong relationships with the SAP SCM/CRM business owners and related stakeholders, and acts as the liaison and main point of contact between them and technical teams.
Works with the product owners to identify opportunities for improvement and design solutions; delivers accurate business requirements to functional and technical IT resources.
Leads design through delivery and support phases of projects including supplying functional and business knowledge to the design phase, verifying the long-term solution roadmap satisfies the actual business requirements of the project, and identifying potential conflicts with other business units or processes.
Observes all operational workflows to ensure they are functioning as desired.
Provides interventions and support where needed.
