Job DescriptionThis role provides the underlying system platform programming support on which applications are developed and/or deployed. This person will be responsible for design, installation, support and availability of the (MVS) z/OS operating system including all related third party software products. This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, problem determination and diagnostics, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, and providing general day to day support of the environment.   • Experience in MVS systems analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies.

  • Exposure to analyzing MVS applications (for example PL/I, TSO REXX, Cobol, DB2, CICS, ISPF, JCL, SCLM, Assembler, VM).

  • Exposure to z/OS products and features such as SMP/E, z/OSMF, WAS

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies

  • Exposure to manufacturing and distribution business processes
