As a Watson Health Channel Manager you will be building the Watson Health Channel Partner Strategy. You will be an industry expert, someone who is looked upon to lead the way and navigate change.Your Responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute creative strategies to build relationships and grow IBM Watson Health Cognitive Solutions with Channel Partners in the Provider, Payor, Life Sciences and Medical Device markets.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly & annual business development quota target objectives.

  • Build and expand your database of prospects within your target Channel market by building pipeline; generating leads; and closing business.

  • Prospect leads and self-generated opportunities; validate, qualify and prioritize Channel Sales Partner opportunities.

  • Build and strengthen a high level of Watson Health Cognitive Solutions expertise and competitive intelligence.

  • Identify decision makers among the targeted Channel Partner leads in order to initiate the Channel Partner Sales process and manage Channel Partner relationships.

  • Develop and maintain a client and partner database to support opportunity pipeline management.

  • Provide regular updates to management regarding opportunities, trends and challenges.

  • Being part of a high performing team that is at the forefront of the cognitive computing era in Healthcare.

Our team is looking for experience in Channel Sales and Business Development within the Healthcare Industry, bringing expertise in prospecting and relationship building in this area of the market incorporating tailored cognitive solutions sales with territory strategy, uncovering new opportunities and driving these opportunities to closure.Our team is looking for members who encompasses the following:

  • Demonstrated track record of top performance in a business development/ sales role.

  • Proven experience to develop strategies to penetrate and establish new relationships with new business Channel Partners.

  • Experience in assessment of the territory potential, build a Go-To-Market (GTM) plan, and execute that plan.

  • Individuals with experience selling healthcare technology solutions.

  • A willingness to travel (likely 25%+).

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Business Development Channel Sales within Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Medical Device industry.

  • At least 5 years' experience establishing Key Strategies for Business Partner Accounts.
