The IBM US Sales & Distribution team is seeking highly talented graduate level students, with a passion for technology and sales to fill Information Sr. Client Relationship Representative Internship roles.

Applicants should be graduate students pursuing a Master’s degree in the areas of Business, International Relations, or similar disciplines. Intern positions are located in major cities across the US. IBM Sr. Client Relationship Representatives are sales professionals guided by IBM’s purpose – to be essential to its clients. To actively engage clients to develop the trust and credibility to help them grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems with IBM’s proven cognitive and cloud technology solutions. The Sr. Client Relationship Representative delivers industry centric business solutions to clients of all sizes and markets. During your internship you will work directly with sales professionals with opportunities at client sites and contribute to the day-to-day sales operations of the team. You will gain an understanding of IBM sales practices as well as knowledge about IBM's products in order to help develop business solutions for clients. You will shadow sales representatives on client engagements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to network throughout all levels of the robust IBM organization, which will enable you to form contacts and gain insights on future opportunities within IBM. You will work with one of the following business units: Analytics, Cognitive Solutions, Cloud, Commerce, Internet of Things, Security, Social, Systems Hardware, or Systems Software.Applicants should be considering a career in sales and have a passion for interacting with clients to help them solve business problems through the application of technology. They should have demonstrated business acumen and a desire to learn about leading sales initiatives and how to close business deals. In addition, they should also enjoy daily interaction and teaming with other high performing IBM teammates.The Sr. Client Relationship Representative Intern applicant should:
Demonstrate a passion for sales
Have customer sales/service experience
Be a self-starter and have demonstrated leadership experience
Possess people and teaming skills
Possess research and analytical skills
Have a capacity to grasp technical details
Demonstrate written and oral communication skills
Be able to independently travel to local IBM clients and meetings
