You must be self-motivated, ready to interact daily with a variety of other smart and highly motivated people, and work in a changing environment where no two days are ever the same. Our Sales Specialists are focused on driving key growth solutions across Linux on Power Systems, with an in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following markets: Federal, State and local government, higher education/research to generate demand in new accounts or expand IBM’s reach in existing accounts with the ability to position different storage technologies based on unique requirements of HANA market and specific customer requirementsYou'll also be responsible for navigating IBM to identify and acquire critical resources needed to develop the best solution for the client, while applying IBM brand strategies and offerings, methods and models, to ensure world-class design and delivery.   • At least 5 years experience in working with SAP, SAP HANA and IBM Power Systems:

  • At least 5 years experience in working with SAP customers

  • At least 3 years experience in architecting and selling HANA solutions

  • At least 5 years experience in competitive knowledge of x86 solutions for HANA including both appliances, TDI, scale-up ccNUMA implications and scale-out analytics

  • At least 3 years experience in understanding of the pros/cons of SAP HANA cloud offerings and the ability to position on-premise solutions vs. cloud

  • At least 5 years experience in presentation skills with SAP HANA via Sapphire, TechEd, ASUG, Webinars and/or direct customer meetings

  • At least 3 years experience in IBM Power Systems including scale-up and scale-out offerings, HANA solution editions, the value proposition, HA offerings, Backup/Recovery options

  • Readiness to travel 50% travel annually

  • English: Fluent
