In this professional Sales Representative position, you will be responsible for the direction, execution and plans of Software Sales and Solution activities for multiple, very complex and strategically important projects. Working from an IBM office, from home or a core location, you will assigned to guide and manage major Public Analytic projects and programs. Is relied on as the expert and trusted advisor on matters related to Sales, the unit which you will be supporting, and related organizations, processes and practices. Qualified candidates must have a vision and clear definition of success and translate that understanding into their responsibilities to manage the sale of IBM offerings, solutions, and services. This includes sales cadence preparation and support, client satisfaction assessment and improvement as well as compliance with appropriate sales related practices. Responsibilities may include providing insight and breakthrough thinking from analytics and innovatively utilizing reporting systems to significantly improve business results. Providing expert advice and counsel to management and lower-level professionals across a wide range of functions. Providing expert advice and leadership to complementary organizations on issues of common concern.The mission of the Sales Representative will be to drive significant sales by winning data platform/architecture battles. You will bring PUBLIC industry and domain insight and use this to provide clients with compelling reasons to act based on outcomes and value delivered. You will win by command client attention with your tech savvy, platform knowledge and ability to leverage industry trends around Hadoop/Spark and Open Source. The team you will be working with has a global and regional responsibility for Analytics Platform sales. Experience leading implementation elements of Analytics business strategies for Public Sales Management.
