IBM Oracle Retail Merchandising Technical Consultant in Raleigh, North Carolina

The Oracle Retail Merchandising Technical Consultant is responsible for consulting on Retail Merchandising System engagements, including implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications. The consultant is responsible for leading different RMS modules such as Foundation, Purchase Order, Replenishment, Inventory, Stock ledger, and Allocation as well as for assisting clients in the implementation and support. The consultant will provide technical knowledge and manage client relationships within context of individual role.Candidates should have at least 2 full life cycles with hands-on technical development experience in multiple modules. Candidates should have development experience in v16 Item Induction, PO Induction, RMS integration using RIB, experience with Oracle development tools such as JDeveloper and programming languages such as Java, PLSQL, Pro*C.Other responsibilities will include: participation in transitions of the customization functional designs from the RICE functional designer, participation in code reviews, participation in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers, documentation of the application to facilitate maintenance, and development skills using Oracle Retail toolset.

  • At least 5 years experience in Retail Business processes

  • At least 2 years experience in defining and reviewing technical requirements for the Oracle RMS application

  • At least 2 years experience in creating technical designs for the individual RICE components, based on the business requirements provided in the RICE functional designs

  • At least 2 years experience in the detailed design of application and technical architecture components

  • At least 2 years experience in developing and unit testing assigned RICE objects as well as fixing defects

  • At least 1 year experience in Oracle Retail customizations/extensions methodology
