IBM Enterprise Social Solutions Digital Seller Public Sector in Raleigh, North Carolina

IBM seeks to hire an Enterprise Social Solutions Digital Seller. The candidate will sell IBM’s suite of collaboration solutions and Kenexa portfolio. This is an inside sales, telephone based sales position, selling licensed software and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. IBM’s market leading collaboration and Kenexa solutions deliver the technologies organizations are seeking to drive more effective employee and customer interaction, increase employee efficiency, and positively impact the bottom line. This is primarily a hunting role with a small installed client base. This position primary focus is prospecting, progressing and closing opportunities with the Public Sector market, which includes healthcare, life sciences, and state and local government. This role is based in the West or Midwest region.Required Responsibilities:

  • Commit to and deliver results based on assigned monthly and quarterly targets

  • Identify opportunities in assigned territory via prospecting for new business, cross-selling and up-selling

  • Actively manage the progression of sales opportunities by leading the effort with internal resources or teaming with business partners to closure

  • Develop and execute an effective territory plan, securing software and SaaS sales revenue and customer satisfaction

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data using IBM’s SalesConnect

  • Understand IBM product licensing and SaaS subscription offerings

  • Understand internal process to book deals - IBM’s Firm Order Process

  • Commitment to stay current with IBM’s collaboration offerings, competitive environment, SaaS, and industry/sector trends
