Discover what you can do at IBM.Our Big Data and Advanced Analytics practice is seeking an experienced Go To Market State and Local Government Leader for business development and delivery of Advanced Analytical Solutions to State and Local clients in the United States. Preferred location: Central Florida, Atlanta, GA, DC, Vrigina or NYResponsibilities include:
Business Development/Sales Executive: Selling and progressing solutions sales, including developing offerings, and driving sales strategy and execution
Resource Management & Delivery Oversight: Developing and overseeing IBM delivery resources, including career development and recruitment
Innovation: Contributing to overall State and Local GTM pursuits and thought leadership within IBM
Collaboration: Working within the IBM matrix to establish solutions that leverage the depth and breadth of IBM
This individual will need to have demonstrated ability to communicate with C-Suite executives, establishing credibility and trust with the ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.BENEFITS Health Insurance. At least 10 years experience driving pursuits in State and Local Government, Education (SLE) entities/agencies, municipalities/cities.
At least 8 years experience in SLE leadership role (Director, VP level)
At least 5 years experience working in big data, data management, master data, and/or advanced analytics in SLE
Proven ability to story-tell/describe the effective use of data/analytics in an SLE context
At least 5 years track record of selling and closing $5 to $7M in sales per year
Demonstrated knowledge of SLE procurement practices and contract vehicles; understanding of/ability to work with lobbyists and business partners
Demonstrated ability and experience in progressing a pursuit from solution concept to design, and overseeing solutioning through delivery
Proven experience engaging in, and building relationships at the C-Suite level
