This is a position in the Advanced Analytics Watson team, a consulting unit in IBM's Global Business Services (GBS) that is dedicated to the adoption of Advanced Analytics alongside Watson in IBM’s strategic clients worldwide. This position is in the GBS worldwide Advanced Analytics Center of Competency. The position requires understanding of analytics in at least one of the two following areas – structured data analysis and unstructured content mining.This is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Consultant role, with focus on the adoption of business analytics in client settings, where both structured and unstructured analytics are important. The successful candidate is expected to possess hands-on analytics expertise, client-facing consulting experience, and acumen for solving business problems using quantitative methods like statistical modeling, mathematical optimization or logical visualization. At least 3 years experience in Understand and Use quantitative techniques or computational algorithms in any of the four: Prediction and Forecasting / Prescription / Unstructured Content Mining / Natural Language Processing.
Basic knowledge in Familiarity with IBM's Watson Solution
At least 3 years experience in Deep business knowledge in one of the following Industries: Banking, Insurance, Financial Markets, Telco, Retail/CPG, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Public/Government
Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
