IBM FA0173 - Controls Analyst in QUEZON CITY, Philippines

This job role may include some or all of the following: Maintain and perform data extraction as required for monitoring. Performs monitoring review for T&E and Accounts payable related to company policies and procedures, BRITE Tool and work program. Perform General and Detailed testing according to established schedule across all regions / business units to evaluate compliance to company policy and procedures, BRITE Tool and work program. This includes testing T&E and accounts payable processes, sample size determination, work paper preparation, exception evaluation, and remediation testing in accordance with established procedures. Assist BPD Lead in all requirements in relation to the monitoring activity. Participate in company initiatives/projects as needed in relation to the work performed. Capability building primarily ensure proper on-boarding of new hires, building the skill sets of team members, PBC/PDP/IDP completion Assist the Accounting Operations Manager in ensuring:a. Continuous improvement plans are in placeb. Compliance with SLAs and Key Measurement targetsc. Business controls are in placed. BCP readinesse. Effective relationship management of clients, including CFOs and other business process contacts (ie F&Ps, etc) Thorough understanding and in-depth knowledge of process area including financial metrics Provide issue resolution to Accountants/Team members for escalated issues Develop and keep current complete process documentation including flow charts with key control points, process narratives and desk procedures Provide performance and variance commentaries to CFOs/Controllers on month end results.

EDUCATION:- Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College DegreeKNOWLEDGE:- Proficiency with Spanish language- Knowledge of accounting and reporting systems, processes and practices- Ability to understand, define and work with accounting concepts, processes and operations- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on establishing and maintaining a strong customer service culture- Ability to communicate effectively with team members- Attention to detail, focusing on timely delivery of resultsSKILLS, ABILITIES AND BEHAVIOR:- Computer literate, familiar with spreadsheet and word processing applications.- With good English communication skills- Strong numerical and analytical skills- Results-oriented- Has the ability to work independently to conform to tight deadlines- Highly motivated and proactive- With good interpersonal skills
