The Analytics Platform Portfolio Seller is responsible for leading and managing all sales activity for the IBM Analytics Software Portfolio for the assigned territory and accounts. The product portfolio is extensive covering (Big) Data Management and Processing, Content Management, Data Integration and Governance, and Business Analytics.The role requires continuous prospecting, progressing and closing of sales opportunities for individual Software products, and Software/Service bundles that include products from the portfolio.
The Seller develops, and continues to maintain a strategic and tactical territory plan for the product set. He/she remains current and knowledgeable of IBM strategies as they relate to the client base and the industry. He/she leverages IBM internal resources, technical expertise, marketing, client team and ecosystem of business partners to identify, progress and close deals.The Seller must have an industry expertise (financial services, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, government), passion for technology and particularly game changers including cognitive computing and cloud.
