IT Systems Management Services are part of the Could Adoption & Deployment Services business. We deliver expertise in innovative design, implementation and consulting services across the IT Service Management portfolio. Our team of highly skilled consultants, with broad architectural knowledge, deep technical skills and a wide range of business/industry experience, are the specialists who enable clients to maximise the value of their investment by developing then deploying solutions. We also assist Sales and Pre-Sales throughout the Sales Cycle and play a pro-active role in improving our solutions. It is a varied and challenging role.We are looking for candidates who have experience with implementation of at least one the following IBM products or competitive alternatives:a) The IBM Tivoli monitoring family of products (ITM, ITCAM)b) Application Performance Monitoring (formally SCAPM)c) IBM Control Desk (ICD formerly SmartCloud Control Desk SCCD)d) Tivoli Application Discovery Dependency Manager (TADDM)
e) Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool/Impact, IBM Tivoli Network Manager
Knowledge of ITIL, probably at foundation level, ideally higher. ITIL provides a set of practices that many of our clients use for IT Service Management that focuses on aligning IT services with the needs of business.
Familiarity with the processes, technologies, organisational structures and operations of IT Systems Management, including monitoring, event management, incident and change management. Experience working in traditional Operations, DevOps, or enterprise systems supports groups would be a considerable advantage
Experience architecting complex solutions is highly desirable.
Consideration will be given to candidates who have skills and experience in similar, competitive products; training will be provided, as the skills and experience will bring immense value to the role. Base location can be anywhere in the UK. Work is predominantly across UK and Ireland. Travel varies but the successful applicant should be prepared to travel up to 75% of the time. CSUConsultant
