This position serves as a technical pre-sales consultant to our clients, and a technical sales engineer for sales representatives, with experience in selling complex offerings in a competitive environment. A self-reliant, technical talent for this role with hands-on experience using open-source and IBM proprietary technologies to help our customers understand hybrid cloud deployment architectures and methodologies. This position will drive the co-existence of IBM’s current and future products toward packaged Financial Services and Insurance offerings. Using agile application development and product integration experiences, this position requires core skills in agile development using Python, R, Java and other relevant languages to integrate our product packages. A firm understanding of data engineering is necessary to ensure the co-existence of our Analytic technologies to provide contextual analytical insight to our customers.IBM is looking for an experienced individual who will deliver product presentations, compelling demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, prototypes, conduct deep-dive discussions and whiteboard sessions that demonstrate the business value and technical strength of our Analytic product platform technologies.This person will have pre-sales, technical design and solution delivery experience. The ability to collaborate with the sales team to provide needed support to progress and close deals, while developing relationships with clients is important as we provide more packaged prototypes to our customers. Experienced with use of Data Integration and governance tools, Hadoop frameworks, and Open Source Technologies.

Will assist the sales teams with their breadth of knowledge and ability to have impact to the business.

Have a solution-oriented approach to help solve business problems. Help build relationships with industry leaders and solution providers

Be the conduit between the customers and the lab, providing visibility and knowledge of our experiences and observations with the product offering management team and help drive the creation

Can help drive events and cater to the needs of participants that would demand a presence from a variety of participants including Developers, Architects, Data Scientists, Engineers, Managers, Evangelists, and Technologists
