You will use your hands-on analytics expertise, client-facing consulting experience, and acumen for solving business problems using quantitative methods like statistical modeling, mathematical optimization or logical visualization. The responsibilities include delivery on consulting engagements, sales activities, and thought leadership. Specifically, you will support IBM's offerings that include, but are not limited to Predictive Modeling, Customer and Operational Analytics, Social Analytics, Regression Test Simulations, Statistical and Forecasting Analytics, Predictive Asset Optimization and Watson Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).Your strong leadership acumen, ability to operate in positions requiring significant self direction and motivation, and a proven track record in Analytics consultative selling solutions to senior business and IT leaders will make you successful. You will be empowered to manage multiple priorities and capable of developing strong relationships at assigned accounts and must be able to:
Establish and maintain deal focused trusted relationships with clients and partners to scope, solution, propose, close and deliver complex projects
Articulate client business value and build business case with consultative and provocative selling approaches based on industry knowledge and/or experience
Understand the delivery implications of consulting opportunities and sell solutions that IBM can deliver
Identify, notice, validate, and qualify opportunities and help close them on an as needed basis. Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and progress them during the quarter
Work in a highly ambiguous, dynamic environment with a proven ability to balanced competing demands and priorities as well as operate independently while building a successful sales pipeline/channel
Team with IBM colleagues and vendors to develop creative and innovative industry-based solutions
Develop strong relationships with client-facing IBM teams and understand the IBM organizational structure and go-to-market approaches
Promote cross brand solutions to promote the overall IBM portfolio requiring an understanding of IBM offerings, in particular IBM software and hardware.
Understand key partner and competitor offerings which overlap the IBM solution space

At least 3 years of experience in applied predictive analytics in the areas of optimization (linear, mixed integer, constraint programming) and/or simulation.
At least 2 years of experience in professional services consulting, and sales at a national, or global management consulting firm.
A general understanding of the competitive differentiation of leading predictive analytics tools such as SPSS, Microsoft, SAS, SAP, Oracle, Alteryx, and Revolution Analytics.
Awareness on the use of predictive analytics to solve the challenges of harnessing value from Big Data.
