The Business Unit Executive will drive business development efforts, manage strategic ecosystem relationships, and enable field sales teams, to achieve successful business outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive incremental software license revenue through partnerships (influence and partner resell)

  • Provide leadership and coordination of business partner relationships for Social & Smarter Workforce

  • Partner types include Global Systems Integrator (GSI's), Systems Integrator (SI’s) and other strategic geographic partnerships across North America

  • Develop executive level relationships with strategic ecosystem partners

  • Support sales plans across vertical markets

  • Address, delegate and resolve all obstacles to success

  • Drive professional sales engagement between IBM sellers and business partners

  • Evangelize the IBM Social Collaboration capabilities, domain expertise and value propositions to the sales force

  • Aid in strategic account planning and deal reviews

  • Accountable for North American Social Collaboration sales performance
