IBM Mobile Strategy Consultant (Global Center of Competence) in New York, New York

IBM Global Centre of Competency (CoC) is the premier partner for delivering Mobility Solutions, capitalizing on smartphone features, connecting remote workers and embedding mobile wireless connectivity to smart devices focused in four main areas: B2C, B2E, B2B and M2M.IBM Global Centre of Competency (CoC) is continuing to expand to meet client demand. As a result a number of exciting opportunities have arisen for skilled mobility professionals to become part of the Global Practice team. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about Mobile Innovation, have direct experience developing Mobile Strategies for a wide range of clients and have been a key contributor in the delivery of a large Mobile Transformation Program either on the client side or as a services partner.You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering Mobile Strategy and Transformation Programs to global companies;

  • Defining business innovation approaches, conceptual prototypes, new business models, transformation roadmaps and supporting mobile business and innovation strategy discussions;

  • Presenting the IBM Mobile Strategy and Industry Point of View to client management and CxOs;

  • Becoming the business design authority in Mobile Strategy;

  • Providing Mobile SME sales support for new client opportunities globally; and

  • Creating and contributing to Mobility Industry “Points of View” and Industry positioning.

Required:Fluent in EnglishWillingness to travel globally up to 80% of the timeExcellent written and verbal communication skills including good presentation skills

  • At least 3 years of experience developing the full range of mobile strategy and transformation deliverables for large clients.

  • At least 3 years of experience delivering a major Mobile or Digital Transformation Program in a consulting role or within a large company.

  • At least 3 years of experience designing digital/mobile solutions across a wide range of industries.

  • At least 3 years of experience working across business, creative design and technology areas.

  • At least 3 years of experience presenting mobile strategy and vision to stakeholders. Must have the ability to communicate with clients at a management and executive level.

  • At least 3 years of experience enabling mobile technologies and software that comprise the foundation of Mobile Transformation Strategies.

  • At least 3 years of experience acting as a Mobile domain subject matter expert (SME) and developing / presenting your insights and Points of View around mobile topics and trends.
