Manager of Ad Operations is a key leadership role for TWC’s digital Ad Operations team. This role would be responsible for overseeing campaign management and campaign trafficking functions, working closely with cross functional teams based in NYC, ATL, and SF. This includes end-to-end campaign management responsibilities post contract, which starts with IO shore up to billing reconciliation. This role is a multidisciplinary role blending elements of ad technology, process & policy management, and people management.Core Responsibilities:● Act as point of escalations for all campaign issues and urgent requests outside of guidelines. This requires working closely with Sales Directors and Sales VPs in NY and other cross functional leaders in different regions (Ad Tech, Ad Ops Program Management, Ad Product, Yield Management, Account Management, Business Operations)● Manage Sales request queue and priorities and ensure proper workload allocation and bandwidth management. This includes assisting team with coverage to ensure Sales accounts are properly managed and requests are executed within standard turnaround times.● Work directly with Outsourced Ad Ops support to manage overflow and quality assurance with outsourced trafficking work.● Staff, train, and lead NY Campaign managers and Campaign traffickers ● Act as subject matter expert for all things campaign management and campaign execution. This includes understanding marketer’s objective & KPI, Ad technology features and limitations, best practices that wrap around existing technologies and gaps, creative QA, and delivery troubleshooting. ● Continue to work on new process and policies to minimize turnaround time on new order and optimization requests● Promote best practices with testing and QA management for the team in regards to working towards superior campaign execution, minimizing errors.● Stay in tune and up to date with all new tools, products, platforms, Ad products and their capabilities to ensure proper education of the team.● Facilitate recurring meetings that review status of all campaigns to ensure optimal monetization and execution.
● Bachelor’s degree● 5+ years digital advertising experience preferably in publisher side with experience managing Sales and Ad Ops support teams● Familiarity with the online advertising ecosystem; different ad technology stacks and vendors and how they fit into the digital advertising ecosystem● Exceptional understanding of ad systems and technologies including DFP, Operative One, Ad-juster, MOAT, Omniture and/or similar systems● Ability to manage high pressure and fast paced environment● Ability to work with cross functional leaders and teams in geographically dispersed locations in the US● Ability to juggle multiple deadline driven projects and initiatives● Excellent written and verbal presentation skills● Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics/ reporting.● Experience in training various disciplines and concepts
