To be successful in this role, you must possess demonstrated technical skills in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Availability/Resiliency Strategies as well as our a working knowledge of other IBM services portfolio offerings. A thorough understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and solutions is a must. You must also understand the competitive landscape and be able to develop appropriate sales strategies to win. As the IBM Cloud Resiliency Services Sales Executive, you will be expected to convey subject matter expertise and credibility in working with customers and internal IBM Opportunity Identifiers and extended IBM team members. You will need to apply sales skills to engage and close opportunities with key decision makers and ensure smooth transitions from the sales phase to the delivery phase (i.e. hand-off from sales team to implementation team).This is a new business/business development role in 10-15 named accounts. We are looking for a sales professional that understands how grow the base business and find new business, as well as how to manage a territory in IBM's largest client set while being adept at maintaining high levels of client satisfaction with existing customers. The IBM Cloud Resiliency Services Sales Executive must be able to manage existing, large, complex clients and expand the Resiliency Services business volumes with those clients as well. GTSsales

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Resiliency Services

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Solution/Managed Services Sales

  • At least 5 years’ experience in IT Services Sales

  • Knowledge of multi-vendor IT Infrastructure Solutions

  • Ability to call on ‘C’ suite

  • Readiness to travel 50% annually

  • English: Fluent
