  • Seller is responsible for the coordination and successful execution of all cloud platform required sales related activities within an assigned territory or set of accounts to achieve assigned financial sales objectives

  • Expanding IBM's cloud platform services penetration into existing IBM accounts

  • Activities include working with and leveraging other IBM client facing teams to create demand, identify opportunities, qualify opportunities, and then directly executing high quality professional engagements that result in winning opportunities that achieve assigned targets while providing high value customer solutions

  • Represent all of the IBM Cloud Platform portfolio, which includes but is not limited to SoftLayer, BlueBox, VMWare on Softlayer, Bluemix and CleverSafe.

Key Attributes:

  • Strong competitive sales knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google and/or Pivotal cloud solutions

  • Track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas

  • Ability to get deep on technical topics linked to cloud platform (network, security, dev ops, etc)

  • Ability to collaborate with teams within IBM and partners externally

  • Creative problem solver who and will thrive in the evolving Cloud market

  • Ability to work in complex, matrix managed organizational environments

  • 5 years direct, face to face customer selling experience

  • 3 years selling services in which your primary area of responsibility was solutions based on the cloud related portfolios from IBM and other industry providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure Services, Google Cloud Services, Oracle, Century link, etc .
