IBM Commerce Supply Chain Solution Specialist - Financial Sector in New York, New York

IBM's Commerce Supply Chain Solutions are the world class leader. We are looking for a strong, passionate, change-driven individual to lead within the Midwest. As a Supply Chain Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for developing deep, Trusted Advisor relationships with Financial Services Clients, and articulating the business value derived from our solutions to both Line of Business and IT Sponsors. The successful individual will:

  • Develop a plan and execute within his/her Territory, on a quarterly basis, focusing on Opportunity Identification, Progression and Close in a whitespace territory.

  • Effectively position and articulate relevant, tangible value IBM's Supply Chain solutions will deliver value, both On premise and via SaaS.

  • Engage the broader IBM Team and Leadership to support efforts and ensure excellence.

  • Develop an understanding of the Commerce Supply Chain Portfolio

  • Engage in both Line of Business and IT discussions, and deliver solutions with meaningful and relevant business value.

  • Lead / Motivate both direct and indirect members of the extended team ensuring that they are aligned with sales objectives.

  • Partner with other organizations across IBM to ensure success.

  • Champion the customer's needs and issues throughout IBM.

  • Escalate contract issues appropriately for quick resolution.

  • Accurately manage and communicate pipeline and forecasts.
