This role provides pre-sales support for Customer Engagement Solutions Marketing sales. The Client Solutions Professional will utilize knowledge of industry segment processes and challenges to successfully position and demonstrate innovative applications of marketing solutions. The ideal candidate for this position should have relevant experience as a marketing business user, presales consultant, or marketing consultant responsible for promoting marketing automation solutions and fearlessly risks disapproval to express a differentiated POV about what is right for our clients & their shareholders.The Responsibilities of a Client Solutions Professional include: crafting and delivering tailored solution demonstrations for current and prospective customers; creatively applying marketing solutions to help solve business problems; and communicating these approaches to different business audiences in designated industries.Key Accountabilities:

  • Assess customer strategic needs and uncover business requirements in order to portray Marketing Solutions solution advantages in support of achieving sales revenue targets

  • Conduct business -focused discovery sessions, presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts

  • Deliver tailored solutions and organizational recommendations to meet current and future business requirements

  • Present Marketing Solutions solution-oriented messaging/positioning to customers in sales engagements

  • Understand, utilize and communicate Marketing Solutions best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally

  • Exhibit credible customer fluency across key customer verticals

  • Maintain and build client retention measures to support ongoing penetration / up sell

  • Act as Marketing Solutions SME on solution themes, delivering presentations at internal and external events, and support cross-company initiatives and projects

  • Cooperate with sales in developing account strategies, assessment of account needs and critical sales issues to ensure account satisfaction

  • Research, understand and leverage Marketing Solutions competitive landscape

  • Coordinate functional response to RFP/RFI demands

    Candidate is expected to:

  • Participate actively in sales strategy and positioning

  • Share knowledge in terms of prospect requirements, competitive insights, and product feedback

  • Travel to clients’ sites, 50% or more, of the time

    Key Skills - The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, being able to deliver powerful, succinct and convincing presentations at all levels of an organization and is able to tailor communication to the customer’s needs with authority; effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven track record selling to marketing executives and marketing analysts

  • Broad familiarity with Marketing Solutions competitive landscape

  • Ability to work and learn independently and as part of a team

  • Results-oriented team performer with the motivation and skill to drive the pre-sales process

  • Strategic Thinking—Systematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs; brainstorms with team members to devise solutions to solve complex deal challenges
