Under MVSS, IBM offers its service capabilities (field support, depot repair, remote technical support, and logistics) to OEMs and System Integrators in support of their own products and brand experiences. IBM is looking for a CSE that will join the US sales effort to grow this part of the portfolio. TSS engagements that typically warrant a CSE to lead are characterized by a complex combination of technical, business, and financial issues related to the strategic and tactical direction of customers. The CSE must be an extraordinary team leader, possess strong business acumen, and exhibit exceptional business insight and strong presentation skills. The CSE must be able to demonstrate deep understanding of the customer's business, organization, culture, pain points, and compelling reasons to act. The CSE must create, devise, and articulate a unique and compelling value proposition. The Banking Industry: Complex Solution Executive (CSE) in TSS is responsible for successfully developing, negotiating and selling customized, complex business solutions. As the CSE, you will lead sales engagements and be responsible for assembling and managing the IBM sales engagement team. You will also engage with the customer, participate in complex solutioning, establish beneficial pricing that is highly competitive and close the opportunity. In so doing, you must demonstrate a clear understanding of the customer’s business, organization, culture and the compelling reasons to act and manage any third party consultant relationship (if applicable). The Client Solutions Executive (CSE) at IBM is the lead deal maker and closer on complex IT services opportunities that range in value from $10M to $100M. Major CSE responsibilities include:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of IBM Services & Solutions

  • Own and manage the entire sales life-cycle from initial prospecting and qualification to deal closing

  • Leads the development of deliverables, such as proposals and customer presentations

  • Creates and leads multidisciplinary solution teams to develop complex solutions for specific customer opportunities

  • Maintains partnerships with “C”-level client contacts and relationships while proactively gaining an understanding of the client’s business strategy and objectives

  • Provides leadership in the transition to delivery

  • 5+ years ATM and Banking Support Sales experience

  • 5+ years of intimate knowledge of retail banking operations

  • 5+ years’ experience closing large ($1 million+) maintenance support deals in large enterprises (preferably Fortune 100 enterprises)
