Apply now!IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner with subject matter expertise in Enterprise Operations Strategy. The Associate Partner is a leadership position and directly responsible for the successful sales and delivery of GBS Communications Sector deals with a primary focus on Telecommunications and/or Media and Entertainment clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Determine business issues and recommend operations strategy solutions using analytics and cognitive computing solutions

  • Form and maintain trusted relationships with clients and partners, lead pre-sales activities, scope assessments, solution, propose, and close complex first-of-a-kind analytics and cognitive computing projects

  • Use in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge to analyze client business issues, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions

  • Develop hypotheses, gather facts (through primary and secondary research, structured and unstructured interviews, surveys, etc.) to determine business issues and operating model design

  • Create use cases and related requirements and stories based on design thinking principles

  • Collaborate with the IBM Cognitive Group to help develop use case-specific assets and accelerators to drive combined analytics and cognitive solutions

  • At least 3 years of experience in the Telecommunications and/or Media & Entertainment Industry

  • At least 3 years of experience selling solutions for Enterprise Operations strategy

  • At least 3 years of experience in Big Data and Advanced Analytics solutions

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development and sales of consulting services to C-suite executives of $3M+/year

  • At least 5 years of experience negotiating and selling consulting services projects
