IBM Associate Partner, Digital Commerce – IBM Consulting in New York, New York

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner with subject matter expertise in business development, sales, and delivery of Digital/Customer Platform and eCommerce solutions in the Industrial Sector. You are creative, a thought leader, an expert who is directly responsible for identifying, selling, and delivering transformative eCommerce solutions to some of the world's most essential clients in the automotive, electronics, and industrial products industries. You thrive on establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with clients and partners to scope, solution, propose, close, and deliver complex consulting engagements. You are passionate about bringing together, mentoring, and inspiring teams to deliver client excellence. Responsibilities include:

  • Establish compelling points of view about how Customer Platform and eCommerce solutions can be used to transform customer engagement and/or various aspects of business operations

  • Lead pre-sales activities, assessments, and the delivery of multiple large, complex, first-of-a-kind digital and cognitive engagements simultaneously

  • Lead on-site and offshore teams

  • Establish and maintain deal focused, trusted relationships with senior client executives and partners

  • Business case development, project and program management, business development, proposal writing and management

  • Grow and develop the Digital Customer Platforms practice/business with hands-on leadership

  • Contribute to the growth of intellectual capital for the practice and support the development of other consultants through participation in mentoring or coaching activities

  • At least 5 years of experience in Digital and eCommerce Solutions (E.g. IBM WebSphere Commerce, Sterling Order Management, Adobe Experience Manager etc. )

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development and sales of consulting services of $4M+ / year to C-suite executives

  • At least 5 years of experience in selling, negotiation and delivering complex Digital transformation engagements

  • At least 5 years of experience selling, negotiating, and delivering complex consulting solutions in the digital, analytics, or strategy practices

  • At least 5 years of experience managing and leading teams
