The Agile Transformation Coach within the Marketing Innovation Group (MIG) will be helping IBM’s marketing organization successfully navigate their journey. We are building an environment where everyone’s common goal is to deliver to our customers outstanding marketing solutions as quickly as possible, measuring performance, learning from the results and course correcting as needed, all while having fun. We are looking for great Agile Transformation Coaches to coach and enable our teams (including senior management) through this ambitious transformation effort. You will collaborate with cross-functional, highly skilled marketing teams in a fast moving environment. As an Agile Transformation Coach within MIG you are passionate about achieving outcomes, communication, group dynamics, coaching and craftsmanship and you are not afraid to raise issues and drive transformational change.   • someone who understands the Agile mindset and behaviors

  • someone who appreciates the depths of agile practices and principles and can help teams appreciate them, too

  • someone who has faced the big transformation dragons, organizational impediments to transformation, and has coached senior managers and other stakeholders in resolving them

  • someone who can help management at all levels of the organization to understand the benefits of thinking and working in an Agile way

  • someone who has brought the ideas from other large-scale Agile transformations, professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, meditation, and more, to help the team adopt the Agile mindset and demonstrate Agile behaviors.

    Your Day-to-Day

  • Contribute to the successful transformation of IBM’s Marketing organization to an Agile Marketing organization

  • Facilitate Agile learning and development through individual and team coaching, deliver Agile training, facilitate workshops both, on-site and distantly.

  • Coach Marketing teams through tough challenges, and empower them to reach their potential.

  • Notice trends and act as an advisor with management, while maintaining a safe coaching environment

  • Actively try to identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to implement

  • Act as an Agile thought leader for MIG and the IBM Marketing organization, as a whole.

    What you bring to the team You:

  • have at least 5 years’ experience working as an Agile Coach, helping organizations (not just individual teams) make the Agile transformation

  • have experience facilitating teams working within marketing, media and/or digital technology

  • have a deep understanding of communication, group dynamics and coaching

  • are not afraid to raise issues to senior management and drive change to remove impediments for your team and the project

  • are driven to learning new things and improving existing challenges

  • have experience with team and individual Agile coaching

  • have outstanding facilitation skills

  • are flexible and embrace change as a competitive advantage

  • have strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail

  • proactively take initiative and are able to multi-task and prioritize

  • have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills

  • have certifications in one or more of the following: CSM, CST, CSPO or CTC from the Scrum Alliance or other recognized authority

  • 3+ years’ experience working as a ScrumMaster and/or Agile Coach

  • Certifications in one or more of the following: CSM, CST, CSPO or CTC from the Scrum Alliance or other recognized authority

  • 3+ years’ experience facilitating teams working within technology and/or marketing

  • 3+ years’ experience with team and individual coaching
