IBM Ad Product Manager - Connected Cars in NEW YORK, New York

LOCATION: EITHER NYC OR ATLANTAThe Weather Company, an IBM Business, is seeking an Ad Product Manager – Connected Cars. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the award winning digital team at The Weather Company to lead ad integration into an emerging IoT platform: Connected Cars. Working together with the team at IBM iX and automotive manufactures, running design thinking workshops with potential advertisers, this candidate will own the strategy and execution of the product. The candidate will also orchestrate the work of several teams, including engineering, creative, ad operations, measurement, and data science, to ensure high-quality, timely releases. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Sales to help identify new verticals and clients to target, and then take that data back to the team for prototyping and development.

  • Be a thought leader in this nascent space, championing connected car ad integration internally to other stakeholders at the company and externally to via engagement with media and at conferences.

  • Work closely with our Creative team to guide end-user experience, and to ensure that it aligns with client goals and KPIs.

  • Provide requirements to Engineering team and ensure that the product is built on time and in a scalable fashion.

  • Act as day-to-day contact for relevant vendor relationships to ensure all product needs are supported.

  • Own, track, and report on product delivery and performance.

  • Offer sales support through brainstorming new product ideas, assisting with strategic packaging and product positioning and answering product-related questions.

  • Communicate new ad product capabilities, product launches or updates, and provides training (as needed) with Sales and Ad Operations.

  • Prioritize product pipeline effectively based on company strategies, resources, and time.

NOTE: This role can be based in either NYC or Atlanta, GA

  • 5-7 Years Previous Ad Tech & Product Management experience

  • Experience working with native advertising

  • Experience working within the online/mobile environment

  • Experience working with AI or AI-like systems (NLP, bots, machine learning, etc.)

  • Experience working with IoT

  • Passion for working with data driven products

  • Proven success in leading and managing projects
