IBM Security Architect / Lead in MULHUDDART, Ireland

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Security Architect within the Watson Health Division in IBM. With a large number of global customers deploying our products we need an Security Lead/Architect to come on board and lead security activities within the Social Program Management organisation. We need a person who can provide leadership, set the strategy, goals and direction for the security in order to support the business which is in a very exciting phase of its evolution.Responsibilities:• Provide technical advice and leadership for security architecture in relation to our software products and their integration into the IBM wider portfolio.• Perform and assist in evaluation / assessments of new or updated technology components across our system landscape• Work with Product Management to assist in product development, selection and technical evaluation.• Adhere to and evangelise technology standards across all appropriate areas of the business• Own security throughout Product Lifecycle Management, i.e. assessing risks, identify how to fully support updated hosted technologies etc.• Work with and assist the Security Operations and engineering teams with security throughout the development lifecycle including triage of issues found and education on how to resolve• Assess impact of product changes on support, services and infrastructure• Develop and maintain internal technical standards documentation• Act as an escalation point for design, implementation and operational queries• Develop a strategy to manage a Secure Programing Model based on the Secure Engineering @ IBM initiative and IBM Secure Programing Framework with particular focus on SaaS and mobile requirements• Work with the broader security community both inside and outside of IBM to ensure that the product and development process meets current best practices• Review Secure Engineering processes such as Vulnerability and Security Testing crafting a living strategy for maintenance• Work with Mobile delivery team to develop Security and Privacy policies.• Work with SaaS delivery team to develop Security and Privacy policies and to assist with assessments and audits required to host and support applications in a regulated environment• Understand and communicate the implications and requirements of running the product suite in a secure and regulated environment• Work with Sales and Services to communicate the security and privacy policies to CustomersRequirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, or technical area. Masters in an information security related area desirable.• Significant experience designing and implementing security solutions.• 10+ years of IT experience that encompasses a variety of roles. Extensive and in-depth experience in a wide variety of technologies, platforms and functional areas.• In depth experience with Security platforms such as Firewalls, IPS and DDOS.• CISSP, SANS GIAC, OSCP, or other industry certifications are a plus.• Excellent ability to identify threats and vulnerabilities in a system, model exploits, and design mitigations.• Knowledge of industry standard Security tools such as Nessus & Qualys.• Experience working with Security Standards such as ISO27001 & HIPAA.• Detailed understanding of Network Security.• In depth experience of Windows & Unix security testing.• Significant experience of Infrastructure and application Security Testing.• Excellent Troubleshooting and Analytical skills.• Excellent documentation and communication skills.• Strong understanding of current trends and developments in information security.• Technical Architecture level experience (ideally with experience of design, deploy and operation in a software development environment)• Ability to reliably transfer knowledge within your field of expertise• Ability to manage project deliverables and effectively manage contributors and suppliers as the projects require• Effective acquisition of knowledge about new technology from a variety of sources• Able to work effectively in a team and a cross multi-functional teams• Experience with Security technologies such as AV & Malware• Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people.CSUSWDevSupport
