We are looking for talented Scrum Masters/Agile Project Managers to join this journey as we develop the next generation of health and social care solutions. The positions are in the Watson Health group in Dublin where we are creating the IBM Watson Health Care Management offering. IBM Care Management is a packaged software application that delivers key capabilities required to manage care across the care continuum. It can identify clients in need of care; assess their needs and establish the most appropriate care plan to support their needs; collaborate across a multi-disciplined care team; manage the care of the individual and proactively monitor results and outcomes. IBM’s Watson Care Management combines data integration, analytics and coordination of care capabilities into a single ready-to-use offering that provides multidisciplinary teams a personalized, 360-degree view of the individual to facilitate outcome-focused care. Key Responsibilities Include

  • Motivate and coach team for continuous improvements towards consistent delivery of working software each Sprint

  • Foster continuous improvement and self-organization in the team.

  • Experience working in a continuous delivery environment

  • Some technical knowledge is an advantage, and a willingness to learn from and engage with senior technical team members

  • Coordinate Sprint meetings and disciplines – Release Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo and Retrospectives

  • Work with Product Owners to develop, groom and prioritize the backlog; ensuring a healthy product backlog

  • Collaborate between Product owners and the Development teams.

  • Assist in the removal of any impediments that would prevent the team achieving its Sprint goals

  • Willing to support, provide assistance, and mentor other SMs and teams based on previous experiences

  • Ability to coordinate with multiple Agile teams to deliver large initiatives across a wider organisation

  • Maintain Sprint artifacts and metrics including: progress and team performance, issues and risk registers, and handle communication with internal and external stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus more than 5 years of Program/Project Management experience with more than 3years of experience in managing Agile/Scrum teams in a technical environment.

  • A solid understanding of Agile and Agile transformation with the right attitude and personality to continue to improve through coaching and teamwork

  • Ability to work with and build new Agile teams as well as strengthen existing Agile teams

  • Knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and team empowerment

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies

  • Excellent project management skills to ensure that efforts track to delivery and that stakeholders are kept up to date on status and changes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills needed and can excel in a fast paced environment

  • Scrum Master Certification, Certified Scrum Professional is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus more than 5 years of Program/Project Management experience with more than 3years of experience in managing Agile/Scrum teams in a technical environment.
