IBM Practice Leader - Mobile in MULHUDDART, Ireland

Responsible for end to end execution of a consulting domain, from sales, through solution design, to delivery, and practice. At the core of the role is the leadership, management, and improvements of the practice focused on working with clients' planning needs. Demonstrate strong communication skills, consultative, presence and leadership, and team leadership as well as domain knowledge. Specific responsibilities include: leadership (perform and mentor) on consulting engagement pursuits, oversight of consulting engagement delivery, direction to teams of technically focused architects and service management consultants, practice leadership and capability growth, and administrative and operational required activities. Pursuit responsibility includes participating in client opportunity identification and qualification calls, understanding client needs and objectives, articulate and formulate solutions design for proposals and statements of work that align to the client needs while managing delivery risk and working with the sales team through deal progression and signing. Engagement oversight responsibilities include following the ITS Delivery Roadmap to successful project execution. This includes staffing consulting project teams, assisting project leadership (i.e., project manager or engagement leader) in defining or modifying project approach and structure as necessary, deliverables review and participation in key project events as appropriate to help ensure Delivery Excellence. The employee leads a functional/business unit. Develops and implements product, market, business, or technology strategies with executive review. Has vision of overall strategies. Contributes to policy making. Recognized as an expert and leader by members of a field, related functions, and multi -country organizations. Leads business unit, country, or international teams, conducts special projects, or manages functions or strategic departments.Accountable for business unit, major country, or international projects or programs. Responsible for committing multiple resources and achieving customer satisfaction, cost, expense, revenue and other business measurements of critical importance. Responsible for quality output/value add for highly visible products, services and future business development.
