IBM Ireland Lab are seeking Business Analysts to join their new IBM Watson Health team at their 100 acre Technology Campus in Dublin. This team are building new products for the healthcare domain.The successful candidate will work in a worldwide team of product managers, architects, business analysts, designers and engineers on solutions for the healthcare domain.The Business Analyst is responsible for the research, analysis, definition and documentation of requirements for new or existing components of IBM’s productsResponsibilities• Research, analyse, define and refine business requirements – attention to detail is essential.• Consult with business and technology teams to shape requirements and help articulate requirements between various departments into actionable requirement artefacts.• Act as an expert across the business for assigned products.• Strong written and presentation communication skills.• Provide design and development teams with end user requirements (via user stories or other templates) – attention to detail a must.• Contribute to design thinking workshops by expressing ideas that always focus on the end user. Encourage collaboration and strong team work to achieve quality design. • Assist the Product Manager/Lead Business Analyst in project estimation and planning.• Liaise with customers, team members and other IBM departments to ensure a quality product deliverable.• Advise on approaches to satisfying a business requirement.• Mentor other team members.• Contribute to training delivery and project work as part of the product management team.Skills and Attributes• BSc, BA, MSc MA degree and at least three years experience in a business analyst role or similar.• Experience in defining business requirement for implementing large enterprise –wide software applications in a Client / Server environment.• Practical knowledge of software development lifecycles.• Experience of screen design and storyboarding.• Effective interpersonal skills.• Solid problem resolution and decision making.• Ability to work either alone or as part of a team dedicated to delivering quality results.• Proven ability in the area of written communication and presentation delivery.• Self-motivated with attention to detail.• Display initiative and practical application.• Experience or knowledge of health care market will be an advantageWAT015"CSUITSpecialist"
