IBM Client Technical Leader - Enterprise Business Unit - Quebec in MONTREAL, Canada

We have an immediate opportunity to join our Canadian Technical Sales team, as a Client Technical Leader, supporting some of IBM’s largest clients in Montreal, Quebec. As the Client Technical Leader, you will develop and maintain proven, trusted client relationships at all levels within the client's organization. You will be recognized as their trusted advisor.You will provide technical leadership during the whole sales cycle. As a strategic thinker and business influencer, you will create roadmaps and technical plans to contribute to the strategic goals of your clients and drive additional business value while expanding IBM’s business. You will lead and manage the technical sales effort in pursuit of innovative solution designs, addressing client requirements, setting a vision, facilitating presentations, demos and workshops, creating business solutions, and recommending implementation techniques to clients. The Client Technical Leader will engage in business level conversations with senior executives to present IBM’s Point of View on Cognitive Computing, Bluemix, Cloud, Security, Internet of Things, Design Thinking and digital customer experience.Criteria for success include growth of IBM revenue, establishment of client relationships, client satisfaction, client adoption of IBM strategic initiatives, opportunity identification and progression, development of innovative client solutions, and leading the IBM technical sales teams in their territory. The Client Technical Leader is the technical counterpart to the IBM Client Executive.Required Technical and Professional Experience:Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge of the IBM Strategic initiativesKnowledge of IBM methodologies, such as Team Solution DesignAt least 5 years of technical sales experience in a client-facing role (pre-sales, delivery or consulting)At least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining business relationships with client executivesSignificant experience in designing, architecting, and implementing solutions in various industriesSignificant experience in leading, facilitating workshops, white board discussions and proof-of-conceptsSuccessful track record in effectively working and leveraging resources cross-functionally in an organization to lead a project or an initiative Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills Fluent in English & FrenchPreferred Technical and Professional ExperienceConsultative skillsDesign Thinking skillsAgile SkillsDepth hands-on technical skillsCertified in Architect professionsEligibility Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in CanadaAbility to work at the client site or in local IBM offices
